The Seasons
As I look at the green leaves thriving on the trees that surround me in beautiful Georgia I whisper a prayer to the Lord to make me like a strong oak, with roots planted deep in Him, drinking deep of the waters that run from His word and His Spirit.
Summer is coming to an end and we are about to exchange one season for another. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year! Leaves turn vibrant colors, as they are dying, the sky seems to be much bluer, grass seems to drink in the last of the rain in preparation of the next coming season.
I want it to be said that in my life I welcomed the changes in the seasons like the trees and all of nature do. They seem to rejoice at each change! Newheart Expressions is going through one of those season changes right now. We strive to embrace the oncoming changes while clinging to our wonderful Savior; just as nature draws from Him as the seasons change! We exchange one season for the next; and just as in our salvation, we cannot turn back longing for the previous times, lest we become like Lots wife, no, we must embrace the change so that we can flow with it.
Join me in this time of change, embrace the newness and resist the temptation to look back at the last season...

The Walk
I walk this walk of faith, following after my Lord and Savior, I often wonder what, if any, lasting value my life experiences will hold after I am gone. Will the money I had given to ministries and others have ongoing fruit in the Kingdom? Will the souls that I ministered to have gotten closer to the Lord, bringing ongoing fruit? Will the prayers I prayed whether for my family, friends, ministries or others, have been answered bringing about God's will...and go on to bear fruit?
Jn 15:8 tells us that it is the will of our Father for us to bear fruit!
"This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples."
Perhaps you join me in having this desire in your heart. More than wanting to be fruitful, it is a necessity in my heart that my life is fruitful. Won't you join me in praying today that your life will bear much fruit?
