The NewHeart has two Expressions,  that serve as an entrance ramp to God’s journey.  The Cross of Jesus Christ is that entrance ramp and these Divine expressive gifts are repentance (Acts 11:18 )and faith (Ephesians 2:9-10).  Two questions arise: 

What is repentance?

In Whom am I to believe and why? 

God’s Eternal LIFE is the only place a person can discover their basic needs completely met.   Only in God’s LIFE can we truly discover: 

we belong and are accepted, 

we receive a sense of substantial and lasting worth, and...

we become aware of being a competent person of significance having personal security. 

 

Only in God’s LIFE do we experience an eternal relationship of intimate empowerment to overcome this world’s narcissistic and rebellious lifestyles of addiction.  The Bible calls addiction, to anything other than Jesus Christ, 'practicing sin' (1 John 3:9).  Those who habitually ignore a practice of sin in their lives are not born of God; they are not children of God, they do not know Him.  They are sinners and their destiny is hell – eternal death, an eternal separation from God's LIFE!

  

So how does a sinner enter into this priceless gift of God's Eternal LIFE?
