As I sat and reviewed how this newsletter would begin I pondered the question, “what creative words would get everyone’s attention so this newsletter would actually be read by a many readers as possible. A few minutes after midnight I was sitting with my wife and the words came to me as though the Holy Spirit was ready to write through my fingers. “How goes the Browning Saga?” I will attempt to answer that question with an interesting and informative storyline.

Did you know that I am a writer? Interestingly enough I have not being published hundreds of times. I have however, one fascinating quality as a result of our accident last year. My wife tells me my brain may have been injured but God awoke me with a new sense of humor, which I did not have before. She is praying that this new wonderful trait does not disappear as God continues to heal this brain of mine.

We are settling into our new home in Colorado and have received the necessary medical insurance needed to reenter therapy as soon as a rehab center can schedule us in. We are looking forward to being back in therapy and to progressing in this recovery.

We have run into an obstacle with my rehab. The doctor here in Colorado does not agree with the doctor in Tennessee. My Tennessee therapy and medical team has highly recommended that I not return to work until I complete the brain injury treatment program. The team actually had me sign papers that state I will not drive or return to work until I complete the program. They have put these instructions in writing with the senior physician’s signature. However, the doctor here in Colorado has instructed me to push myself and to return to work as soon as possible. I pushed myself and fell over. I repeated that the next day and caught myself when falling. I called Tennessee and our advocate there was very clear in instructing me to change doctors. So, I am on the hunt for the appropriate doctor and rehab facility, which is able to meet my specific needs.

Some have commented that I should just go back to work regardless. The legal consequences of doing so makes my family and me liable for any accident or harm that might be caused while I am working, even if it is not my fault. The doctor here stated that Colorado does not restrict brain injury patients from driving. The attorney said there is a law across the entire USA that prohibits brain injury patients from driving and returning to work without the consent and direction of the attending physician. The saga continues...

I would like to share an exciting opportunity we have.

Everything I have seen about the business so far is honest, trustworthy, and biblically based.

Would you be willing to help NHE get this Christian Bookstore up and running? All purchases would not be tax exempt but it would provide the Browning’s a salary that would pay their monthly family expenses and it would provide NHE the means of promoting its POWER of Purity materials worldwide.

This endeavor has also been approved by my Tennessee doctors and therapists who feel that working from my office and online is very safe and beneficial to my cognitive recovery. Right now they allow me to mentor 10 men over the internet and telephone. They also allow me to do our monthly e- communications. It seems that they approve of the tasks I can do over the internet.

POP

In the midst of the doctor and therapy search and this Christian Bookstore opportunity we are approaching POP, scheduled for February 6-10, 2006. This was scheduled and approved back in October by the Tennessee medical and rehab team. I have decided not to cancel the conference and workshop because it will help some guys find freedom and that is a passion resonating within my heart. I believe that Christ who is my Life will supply everything I will need cognitively and physically. Also these men have been searching to discover the POWERFUL Life of Purity for some time. POP, also, will show me what I can and can not do; and what strategies I will need in place to secure my safety and needed recovery.

We covert your prayers and support however God would have you offer it.

We still need to locate and secure a final location for POP. We have several in negotiations and I am working diligently to identify and secure men and mentors to partner with during POP. There is much to accomplish still and your prayers are invited. Together we are stronger than by ourselves

Did you know that one horse can pull 2000 pounds? Guess how many pounds two horses can pull. You think 4000 is the logical answer. The answer is no. Then you might think 8000 pounds or 16,000 pounds. But these answers would also be shy of the real answer. Two horses are able to pull 35,000 pounds. WOW!

Think of it, you and I may only pull 2000 pounds of struggle alone but with this biblical example two of us are stronger and able to pull 35,000 pounds of struggle. We are stronger together than alone. So please join me in helping men discover the POWERFUL Life of Purity. Together we can accomplish all the more!

You might ask what Scripture is there to support my conclusions? I would encourage you to read Eccl. 4:9-12.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (New Living Translation) 9Two people can accomplish more than twice as much as one; they get a better return for their labor. 10If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But people who are alone when they fall are in real trouble. 11And on a cold night, two under the same blanket can gain warmth from each other. But how can one be warm alone? 12A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.

How many pounds can three pull? I would propose that if the Lord is the third strand the amount would be incalculable. However, the Lord I believe is teaching us to walk together, for together we are stronger and able to accomplish all the more.

We Need Your Help with 3 Financial Tasks Immediately

Yes I am going to venture into two requests: prayer and financial help. Let me share with you the three immediate needs.

The Browning’s end of the month bills are due. The Lord provided the rent and the immediate ministry bills by the 10th of the month. Praise His Holy Name! Yet this did not cover all the bills we have as a family or in this ministry. I know the Lord has a plan and that He will provide. He did in 2005 each and every month and He promises in His Word to provide!

Please help if you are able and if the Lord is moving you to assist us in covering these payments.

Remember that February is only a week away. This means that all the bills for February will be due by the 10th of the month.

The third area we would ask for your help is with POP! POP will need to cover the expense of our meeting location, printing of our conference and workshop materials, and the rental of some conference and workshop equipment since all of ours was destroyed in the auto accident last April.

Let me number these needs for your prayer lists and Lord willing your financial support.
