Radical Truth cushioned in Radical Love for a Radical Freedom; NO Compromise; that's what GRACE is all about !!!
The History & Founding of NewHeart Expressions
Pastor Ron and Ginger Browning founded NewHeart Expressions in Tennessee and it was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2002. The Lord laid this ministry on their hearts to share His love and to spread the message of freedom that can only be found in Him. Ron's background in the gay community (See Ron's Testimony)and subsequent freedom gave him a desire and a unique ability to see others struggling with sexual issues find the hope that is in Jesus Christ. His life is one that models that freedom everyday.
In 2004 NewHeart Expressions (NHE7) launched an "exchanged life" mission effort as NewHeart Expressions Canada, under the direction of Pastor Rick and Sarah Apperson. NHE7 Canada was established as an "in fellowship associate" that year. NHE7 then changed its name to NewHeart Expressions International.
As 2005 dawned the NHE Board began to grow. Michael King served as Chairman of the Board and Ezra Watnik joined the Board team as our Financial Officer. Upon the Browning's tragic accident many of the NHE Board and staff begin to believe that Pastor Ron and his wife Ginger would no longer be able to operate the multifaceted ministry that NHE had become. The majority of these dear friends resigned and moved onto ministries as the Lord directed each one. Please, do not miss understand the love binding Pastor Ron and these dear brothers and sisters; for as time passed friendships continued to grow and bonds deepened. The truth was clearly revealed that Ron could no longer function at the same levels or carrying out the same responsibilites in ministry. Graciously the Lord began to weave His calling and plan for Ron into the mass and trauma of his head injury.
At the beginning of 2006, with the departure of the Appersons from NHE, Newheart Expressions has joined with Dynamic Churches International and their Executive Director, Al Middleton, in Edmonton, AB to continue with the discipleship of men, women and teens with the transforming grace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Canada. We really look forward to our developing relationship with Bro. Al and Dynamic Churches to see how God will use us together and grow our hearts and ministry in Canada.
We also welcomed Barabra Camp to the NHE7 board of Trustees as our new Public Relations Trustee; along with her husband, Pastor and Missionary David Camp, as an advisor to the board with 25+ years of ministry experience.
Our newest board member, as of Summer 06 is Sheldon Harding, serving as NHE7's Financial Trustee. Sheldon owns a private company, the Responsive CPA, in Aurora Colorado. He can be contacted to verify questions concerning the finances of NHE7 by email.
We would like to say "thank you" to Dr. John Woodward at Grace Fellowship International for continuing as my mentor, friend, and ministry advisor. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Charles Solomon for extending his continuing support through a few difficult years and his encouragement to keep carrying the torch that sets men free from internt pornagraphy, sexual unfaithfulness and homosexuality. A great thanks is offered to Lee Le Febre of Exchanged Life Ministries Colorado for his counsel and friendship to Ron since his accident. Lee has become a wonderful sounding board and friend. Along with Lee comes the unexpected friendship of one Doug Gehm, former Denver police officer and current Exchanged Life Discipleship /Counselor. Doug has served Ron well, during the years after Ron's arrival in Aurora Colorado.
Thank you John, Chuck, Cathy, Lee, Doug, and all who continue on with us as we reconstruct this ministry.
